Debbie is a poet, songwriter, mother of two year old Aurora, photographer and wife of musician and master painter Dewey Franklin. She is the founder of the Artist Circle, a group of artists dedicated to making the world a better place through beauty and positive communication in all mediums of creativity. "Artists who communicate the good and beautiful can help to heal themselves, others and the world around them. The power for healing grows as artists unite and communicate with each other for support in the creating of gifts of love and hope." Debbie Franklin

The media around us is filled with ugliness, rage, fear, objectification, and despair. Western culture is broken. It's time to change the CD. It's time to watch a different movie. It's time to try a different flavor of thought, a new dialogue inside our heads and out of our mouths. Our world needs a baptism of healing beauty and I am grateful to Debbie Franklin for having the vision to see it and the courage to say it. I hope artists all over the world will join us in making her dream a reality and that many people will begin seeking the divine rather than the profane.

I wish you could meet all the musicians in this project, Healing Beauty. Jill is gone, taken away by illness over a year ago but she never lost her faith in God or the goodness of life. Victoria Williams and her husband Mark Olsen define the warm, beautiful, positive, creative qualities that Debbie dreamt of for her Artist Circle, yet Victoria struggles with MS, Debbie is dealing with stage four inflammatory breast cancer and Dewey is dealing with that, still playing and painting. Every artist on this CD has met major challenges yet have chosen to continue down the road making music. What an encouragement that has been to me and I hope it is to you.

I hope you will buy Healing Beauty and tell your friends about it. Let's join hands with Debbie, to pray and dream sweet dreams of her healing and a healing for us all. Every penny earned from the sale of this collection will go for her treatment. Thank you for being a part of our family of the heart. May God's love always wrap you tight and keep you from the cold.
